Choir founded by Alan Moxey

Alan Moxey added his vision to the Brisbane Eisteddfod in 1947 when he bridged a secondary school gap in the musical education of children, through choir. The choir enjoyed participating in interstate competition, overseas tours, broadcasting and sponsorship work. They sang in radio and television productions, orchestral concerts, recordings, musical broadcasts and for Princess Alexandra and US President Lyndon B. Johnson. The Brisbane Eisteddfod Junior Choir was one of the longest established and most successful children’s choirs in Australia.
