People are at the heart of everything we do!
The Brisbane Eisteddfod believes in making a difference to the community and providing a safe and nurturing environment for developing talent in Brisbane and surrounding South East Queensland.
The Brisbane Eisteddfod attracts and retains the right people to exercise good governance of the organisation, manage its constitutional arrangements, and deliver quality service to artists, their families, arts teachers and the general community.
We do this through a small team of staff who manage specific roles which require demonstrated expertise and a high level of time commitment.
Volunteers – are our community heroes!
Our army of devoted volunteers are the rock of the Brisbane Eisteddfod, for without them our organisation would not enjoy the quality, innovation and sense of fun that we have enjoyed over the past 120 years.
Our volunteer program adheres to best practice and our volunteers are provided the opportunity to develop their skills. The Brisbane Eisteddfod is constantly upgrading their system of mentoring volunteers who are recognised as contributing to the success of the organisation and contributing to the well-being of the community.
As part of our commitment to operating a sustainable not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to developing a formal network of prominent and influential citizens. Although these people may not be a part of the day to day operating process, they are encouraged to contribute their vision, business expertise, innovative skills, entrepreneurial abilities, and unique circles of influence, to enhance the public profile and financial sustainability of The Brisbane Eisteddfod.
The Brisbane Eisteddfod is constantly looking to welcome persons with a high level of commitment to the arts and to community service who are able to offer their time and expertise in management roles to help sustain our not-for-profit organisation.
If you are interested in finding out more about our organisation or would like to make our hearts sing by volunteering with us, fill out the Volunteer Register form on the volunteers page and we will be in touch soon.
